The above corner needed a little extra detail so it was decided to add a castle.  The shell was constructed with wire screen and plaster of paris.  More detailing will be done at a later time.  All trees are hand made from furnace filters or lichens coated with flocking from Noch.

View of the villages and castle in the background.  A shuttle bus is on the way to the train station and the mail is on the way to the main sorting depot.   A transport makes the long climb to the village and a TEE train is on route to Schönblick station.  The two small villages are full of action.

The two above photos show workers busy moving freight goods onto the truck.  I also tried my hand at weathering by air brushing the walls a concrete grey colour and the roof a slate grey colour.  The original colouring was very lacking in this Faller model.

With the kids busy playing, it is no wonder why there is so much laundry to do.

Flowers are plentiful at this time of the year and I bet the view is spectacular from the balcony.

What a beautiful time to go for a morning stroll.  The rock wall was made by pouring plaster into a mould, once set the cast was allowed to fully cure and then glued onto the layout.  A little weathering completes the job.

Time to move the cattle out to pasture for a little grazing.  The chickens in the back are waiting to be fed.

The goats are relaxing in the pen while the pigs are being fed.  The mule just don't want to move today.

Taxi is waiting to take some guests to the train station while others look on to the left to see the newly weds get their picture taken.

Here are the newly weds.  Many of their friends and family members attended for this glorious day.  All the figures used on the layout are hand painted by pops and myself, this is truly a task of time and patience but well worth the time spent.

People are lined up waiting for the bus which will be by very shortly.   I am not sure what the group of people between the two umbrellas had to eat and drink, but I am sure they will miss the next train.
